Patient Car Drivers
Do you like helping others? Do you have your own car and some free time?
We’re seeking enthusiastic, reliable and dedicated volunteers to join us.
Your role is essential in supporting our mission in making a positive impact within your communities.
Volunteers supporting our Volunteer Car Service, offer their time in taking patients to important healthcare appointments.
In 4 months, our superstar volunteer drivers have provided an incredible
journeys
covering
miles
As a volunteer you’ll:
- Use your own vehicles – you will receive a vehicle mileage rate and out of pocket expenses from us
- Pick up and drop off patients from their home to their appointments
- Provide any assistance to patients in and out of the car to their appointments
Skills:
- A confident driver with knowledge of your county roads
- A valid UK driving license with no more than 6 points
- Good communication skills, time-keeping and helpful manner
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday (Please speak to us about fixed/flexible/long or short term support)
- Some weekend availability
Your time can help give valuable patient transport to those who need it.
